  Mrs. Leora C. Shaffer, 70, Daleville, Ala., formerly of Sipesville,
  died April 2, 1986, at Humana Hospital, Enterprise, Ala.  Born Nov.
  11, 1915, in Somerset, daughter of Walter B. and Margaret (Miller)
  Hay.  Preceded in death by father; husband, James M., who died Jan.
  22, 1962; and son, Robert.  Survived by mother, Sipesville; and these
  children: Betty, wife of Leo Schilling, Somerset RD; William, married
  to the former Karen Wolford, Kenneth, Roger, married to the former
  Cheri Lucas, all of Sipesville; Lynn, Daleville, Ala.; Joann, wife of
  Ron Stayrook, Enterprise, Ala.; 13 grandchildren; one
  great-granddaughter.  Also long-time companion, Alfred Derflinger. 
  Sister of Wilfred Hay, Pittsburgh; half-sister of Donald B. Hay,
  Somerset.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where services will be held at 1
  p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Samuel E. Charlton officiating.  Interment,
  Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
