  NAOMI IRENE SHAFFER
  
    Naomi Irene Shaffer, 69, of Ellerslie, Maryland, died March 11,
  1983, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    She was born in Johnstown, Jan. 31, 1914, daughter of the late G.
  Owen and Hattie (Kimmel) Zeigler.
    She worked as a floor supervisor in the garment industry, and was a
  member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury.
    She was preceded in death by three husbands:  Leland Gerhard, who
  died in 1942; Earl M. Baer, 1958; and Clyde Shaffer, 1966.
    She is survived by a son, Jack K. Gerhard, Rawlings, Md.; two
  sisters:  Mrs. Pearl Usoris, Ellerslie, Md.; and Mrs. Mabel Krampf,
  LaVale, Md.; two grandchildren:  Craig and Jack Gerhard II.
    She lived in Ellerslie for the past nine years, having moved from
  Salisbury.
    Services were conducted at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Hyndman, with the Rev. David Fetter officiating.  Interment, Kingwood
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
