  SHAFFER
  
  Nevin L. Shaffer, 69, Meyersdale, died suddenly June 29, 1984, in
  Bedford County.  Born Sept. 6, 1914, in Somerset County.  Preceded in
  death by wife, former Mary Saylor.  Survived by son, Stanley, Lincoln
  Park, Mich.; one grandchild and three half-brothers and one
  half-sister:  Mrs. Martha Mostoller, Riverview, Mich,; John and
  Robert Burkhart, both of South Gate, Mich.; and William Burkhart,
  Lincoln Park, Mich.  Member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren and
  Maple Leaf Rod and Gun Club.  Retired coal miner.  Friends are being
  received in Leckemby Funeral Home, where service will be held 2 p.m.
  Tuesday, the Rev. Ray E. Gnagey.  Interment, Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
