  SHAFFER
  
  Orville G. Shaffer, 86, of Seimon Lakeview Manor, formerly of
  Somerset Towers, died April 17, 1989 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec.
  7, 1903 in Hyndman, son of the late Harvey F. and Mary (Bowser)
  Shaffer.  Preceded in death by parents; sister, Pearl Foust; and
  brothers:  Hubert, Walter and Raymond.  Survived by a number of
  nieces and nephews.  Member of the Somerset Chapter of AARP.  Friends
  will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be held Thursday at 10:30
  a.m., the Rev. Glenn E. Sadler officiating.  Interment, St. John's
  Cemetery.
