Shaffer, Susan

  Mrs. Susan Shaffer, aged 75 years, died at her home on Somerset Pike Monday 
morning at 10:45 o'clock. She is survived by her husband J. W. Shaffer and 
several children. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Kauffman 
Mennonite Church near Davidsville and burial was made in the church cemetery.

  The remains of Mrs. John W. Shaffer were laid to rest recently in Conemaugh 
Township, where the service was held in the Kauffman Mennonite Church near 
Davidsville. The Rev. S. H. Shetler and the Rev. C. E. McCauley officiated. The 
decedent was born in Conemaugh Township seventy-six years ago. Mrs. Shaer 
(Shaffer) is survived by her husband and three children: Mrs. William Croyle, of 
Benscreek, Miss Mary Shaffer at home, Isaac Kauffman Shaffer, of Conemaugh, John 
Shaffer of Cambria County, and Frank Shaffer of Johnstown.
