  SHAFFER
  
  Twila G. Shaffer, 58, Quecreek, died May 7, 1986, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 16, 1928, in Lincoln Township,
  daughter of late Paul Stern and Carrie (Miller) Stern-Thomas. 
  Survived by husband, Dwight Kenneth Shaffer, and these children: 
  Terry, married to former Sarah Dellgross, Champion RD; Alan R.,
  married to former Rose Shroyer, Berlin; and Lynn M., wife of William
  Enos, Somerset; also six grandchildren.  Sister of:  Robert Stern,
  Canastota, N.Y.; Richard Stern, San Diego, Calif.; Violet Shaffer,
  and Martha Snyder, both of Somerset; Ruth Ferry, Somerset RD 3;
  Dorcas Arnold, Somerset RD 2; and Anna Gindlesperger, Davidsville. 
  Member of Beulah United Methodist Church and ladies auxiliary of
  Sipesville Volunteer Fire Department.  Teacher's aide in Sipesville
  School.  Friends received 2-9 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday
  at Beulah United Methodist Church, the Rev. Herbert Lohr.  Interment,
  church cemetery.  Body will lie in state in church from 1 p.m.
  Saturday until time of service.
