(Horner) Shaffer, 88, 330 Clark St., Hooversville, died Aug. 26, 1996, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 18, 1908, in Johnstown, daughter of Frazier and Alice (Sell) Horner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Warren H. Sr. "Buss;" grandson, Bryan L. Shaffer; brothers, Watson and Frazier, and sisters, Winifred and Kathryn. Survived by sons, Warren H. Jr. "Bussie," married to Donna Reckner, and Ronald H., "Butch," married to Patricia Yoder, both of Hooversville; grandchildren: Doreen Burns, Craig Shaffer, Penny Hoffman, Ronald Shaffer, Tammy Ansell, Coleen Shaffer and Lori Ohler; 8 great-grandchildren and sister, Peggy Crissey, Allentown. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville, and Lutheran Christian Women's Association. She was a former registered nurse at CVMH. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, the Rev. Gerald L. Myers. Interment, P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville, would be appreciated.
