  SHAFFER
  
  Walter A. Shaffer, 76, Meyersdale RD 4, died Nov. 29, 1984, in
  Cumberland, Md.  Born Dec. 27, 1907, in Monterey, Va., son of late
  Nathan and Nora (Slayton) Shaffer.  Survived by wife, former Hulda
  Jane Wilt; six sons; four daughters; one brother; one sister; 26
  grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received
  from 4-9 p.m. Friday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Sunday, the Rev. Bobby Phillips and Rev. William Davis officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
