  Warren H. "Buss" Shaffer Sr., 83, 330 Clark St., Hooversville, died
  Feb. 6, 1989, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Sept 5, 1905, in
  Hooversville, son of Daniel and Bertha (Hamer) Shaffer.  Preceded in
  death by parents; grandson, Brian; brothers, Earl, D. Dwight and
  Harold; and sisters, Verna Helen Wagner and Erma Jackson.  Survived
  by his wife of 58 years, the former Vivian Horner; sons, Warren H.
  "Bussie" Jr., married to former Patricia Yoder, both of Hooversville;
  seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He was the brother
  of Frances, Johnstown; and Blanche of Hooversville.  Retired
  president of Daniel Shaffer Inc., Hooversville; member of Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Hooversville; charter member of Hooversville Lions
  Club and a 50-year member of the T.P.A.  Family will receive friends
  from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, at the Deaner
  Funeral Home, HOOVERSVILLE.  Viewing from 10 a.m. until service at 11
  a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville.  The Rev.
  Gerald L. Myers officiating.  Interment, P.O.S. of A. cemetery,
  Hooversville.  Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Hooversville.
