Shank, 44, Glencoe, passed on March 9, 2005, in Brothersvalley Township. Born Sept. 10, 1960, in Somerset. He is the son of the late Leonard G. Shank and Alma E. (Leasock) Shank, Somerset, his mother whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his wife Tonya (Ross) Shank, son Dustin, Glencoe, daughters Tasha (and Terry), Somerset; and Ashley and Heather, Glencoe; brothers Bradley, married to Brenda Shank, Central City; Mark Shank, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; sisters, Lisa, married to Christopher Hill, Berlin; Laura Denise, married to Eddie Pritts, Somerset; and 26 nieces and nephews. He was a member of Local 616 of the Laborers' Union, Cumberland, and the American Legion Post 162, Somerset. He was an avid pool shooter and liked to throw horseshoes and be outdoors. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Sam Coughenour officiating.
