  ESTHER MARIE SHANK
  
    Esther Marie Shank, 54, Shanksville, died June 20, 1980, at
  Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.
    She was born Jan. 18, 1926, in Friedens, daughter of Bruce Stutzman
  Sr., Berlin RD 1, and the late Nellie Zerfoss Stutzman.  Also preceded
  in death by an infant brother and sister, Shirley Heist.  She is
  survived by husband, Dr. Robert Paul Shank, whom she married Sept.
  22, 1944; children:  Mrs. Rodger (Lois) Custer, Stoystown RD 3;
  Wayne, Grindstone, Pa.; and Gary, at home; seven grandchildren, one
  great-grandson.  Sister of:  Mrs. Grace Bethel, Berlin RD 1; Bruce
  Jr., Mifflin; Wayne, Somerset RD 6; Mrs. Dean (Hazel) Swank, Somerset
  RD 8.  She had been employed by Stanley Home Products as a unit sales
  leader, and was a member Shanksville United Methodist Church.
    Friends were received at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  services wee conducted with the Rev. Marlin A. Miller officiating. 
  Interment, Pike Cemetery, Brotherton.
