All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ LUCY MAY SHARP Mrs. Lucy May Sharp, aged 64 years, died suddenly at her home on 430 Beachley Street, on Tuesday, April 7, at 3 o'clock p.m. Mrs. Sharp was born in Somerset County on September 25, 1878, a daughter of the late Howard and Martha (Brookman) DeLozier. The deceased, a life-long member of the Lutheran Church, is survived by her husband, A. A. Sharp, and three daughters, Mrs. G. B. Rhodes, of Somerset; Mrs. Charles Henry, of Meyersdale; and Mrs. Claude Housel, of Youngstown, Ohio; one adopted son, Fay Mull, of Harrison City; two brothers, G. G. DeLozier, of Glencoe; and Walter DeLozier, of Windber; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Schrock, of Johnstown, and Grace DeLozier, of Colorado, and nine grandchildren. Services will be conducted at the Sharp home on Beachley Street, on Friday afternoon at 2:30, with Rev. Samuel Sigler, of Salisbury, in charge. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, local mortician. Meyersdale Republican, April 9, 1942
