SHARRETTS Charles Leo Sharretts, 73, formerly of Akron, Ohio, died November 23, 1982 at the Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home in Grantsville, Maryland where he had been a patient for the past two years. He was born in Cumberland, Maryland and was a son of the late John Robert Sharretts and Mary Elizabeth (Howarth) Sharretts. He was employed as a construction worker in Akron for a number of years before his retirement. He belonged to a United Methodist Church in that city. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Ethel E. Davey, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Helen S. Stubblefield, Mrs. Dorothy J. Crowe and Mrs. Pauline Long, all of Cumberland; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Leasure-Stein Funeral Home where services were conducted at the funeral home with the Rev. John H. Williams of Centre Street United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Robert Long, Robert Long, Robert S. Long, Joseph Arnone, Louis Arnone and John Pendergast Jr. The Republic, December 2, 1982 [S1082]
