Born May 20, 1871 in Jenner Township, Somerset County, the daughter of the late Samuel and Matilda (Duncan) Griffith. Preceded in death by her husband, Lemon E. Shaulis, who died in 1950; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Enoch and Mrs. Mabel Gashaw; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Kaufman; three brothers, Scott, Charles and Walter; and a half-sister, Mrs. Rebecca Gindlesperger. Survived by a son, Homer G. Sr., married to the former Lois Phillippi, Boswell RD 2; a daughter, Edith, wife of Paul Beal, JOhnstown; three grandchildren; eight great-. Mary Enoch and Mrs. Mabel Gashaw; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Kaufman; three brothers, Scott, Charles and Walter; and a half-sister, Mrs. Rebecca Gindlesperger. Survived by a son, Homer G. Sr., married to the former Lois Phillippi, Boswell RD 2; a daughter, Edith, wife of Paul Beal, Johnstown; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was a sister of Dorsey Thomas, Johnstown, and Randa, wife of William Weaver, Boswell RD 2. Member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Boswell. Friends received after 4 p.m. Saturday at Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. George A. Clark. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
