Born Feb. 14, 1910, in Champion, daughter of Clell and Clara (Geary) Shawley. Survived by two sons, Elmer Shaulis Jr. and Glenn Shaulis, both of Champion RD 1; four daughters: Mrs. Ray (Goldie) Stevanus and Mrs. Dorothy Mognet, both of Rockwood RD 3; Mrs. Burton (Bessie) Pritts and Mrs. Clara Blough, both of Rockwood RD 2; two brothers: Arden Shawley, Champion; and Robert Shawley, Indianhead, Pa.; three sisters: Mrs. Maggie Dugan, Somerset; Mrs. Frances Stout, Gray; and Mrs. Goldie Sleasman, Ligonier; 37 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Elmer Shaulis, Oct. 22, 1966, also parents, three brothers and one sister. Member of Center Church of the Brethren and a lifelong member of the women's fellowship group of the church. Friends were received Wednesday evening and will be received from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where service will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Thomas Singo officiating. Interment, Miller Cemetery, Champion RD 1.
