    Blaine W. Shaulis, 64, 172 Jerome Ave., Jerome, died December 22,
  1989, at Memorial Hospital.  Born Oct. 20, 1925, in Jerome, son of
  Russell, and Nancy (Weyand) Shaulis.  Preceded in death by parents,
  infant daughter, Elaine Marie; daughter, Judith Pettitt, and three
  grandchildren.  Survived by wife, former Ruby J. Ogline; these
  children:  Gary, and Dale, married to former Rita "Dolly" Walker,
  both of Jerome; Glenn, Front. Royal, Va., and Kathy, wife of Thomas
  Pumphrey, Old Fields, W.Va.; six grandchildren.  Brother of Glenn,
  married to former Alice Berkey, Windber RD 1; Lila, wife of Leo
  Oakman, Madison, Ohio; Leora, wife of Lawrence Petet, Hollsopple RD
  1; Jay, married to former Ruth Walcott, Plano, Tex., and Norma, wife
  of Ken Coughenour, Somerset RD 8.  Army veteran of WW II.  Retired
  employee of Shaffer Block and Concrete, Somerset.  C.B. handle was
  "Sludge Pumper."  Friends received 2-9 p.m. today and until time of
  service at 1 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main St., Boswell,
  Pastors, Pat and Chris Ramsey.  Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery.
