Shaulis, 77, of Glencoe RD 1, formerly of Geneva, Ohio, died Feb. 23, 1994, at Memorial Hospital of Cumberland, Cumberland, Md. Born Feb. 2, 1917, in Lincoln Township, Somerset County, son of the late Charles Edward and Lydia Ellen (Gross) Shaulis. Also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence W. Shaulis. Survived by wife, Violet N. (Willis) Shaulis, and the following children: Carl W. Shaulis, Houston, Texas; Mrs. Shirley J. Pauley, Madison, Ohio, and Mrs. Larry R. (Beverly) Hayman, Glencoe RD 1. Also 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Florence Baker, Friedens RD 2. Retired foreman for Uniroyal Inc. of Painesville, Ohio, retiring in 1976 with 34 years of service. Former member of the Sipesville Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
