Shaulis, 70, Berlin RD 1, died July 28, 1988, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Jan. 30, 1918, in Rockwood, son of the late Earl H. and Edna (Bridigum) Shaulis. Survived by his wife, the former Margueritte Schrock. Death ends a marriage union of 46 years. Survived by these children: Curtis, married to the former Dorothy Robb, and Gregory, married to the former Darla Lambert, both of Berlin RD 1; Mrs. William (Sondra) Stevenson, Winchester, Va.; Mrs. Bradley (Holly) Thompson, Somerset RD 2; and seven grandchildren. Former partner in electric heat company of Friedens. Retired from Pennsylvania Turnpike as an electrical supervisor. Attended Valley Forge Military Academy and the University of Pittsburgh. Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, Somerset County Vo-Tech school board, Mountain Field and Stream Club, A.A.R.P. and Somerset Hospital Auxiliary where he served as a volunteer. A former musician in various bands. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, BERLIN, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev.
