    Clyde Earl Shaulis, 88, Somerset, died Nov. 13, 2007, at his residence. Born Dec. 17,
  1918, in Lincoln Township, a son of Ira Welsh and Emma Belle (Friedline) Shaulis.
  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Ethel M. Shaulis and Irene M. Swank; and brothers,
  Clark I. and Elwood R. Shaulis. Survived by wife, the former Ethel "Tess" Grace Sarver, to
  whom he was married 63 years; daughter, Mrs. Richard C. "Butch" (Iris) Will, Somerset; and
  sisters, Gladys F. Bittner, Somerset; Mrs. Ernest (Marion) Dunmyer, Somerset; and Mrs.
  Charles (Sarah) Matkoskey, Youngstown, Ohio. Member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church.
  U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, where he was a troop carrier. He worked until his
  retirement as a driver for PBS Coal. He was a life member of VFW Post 554. Friends
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Somerset, where a service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Dennis L. Doebler
  officiating. Interment Casebeer Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Christ Casebeer
  Lutheran Church, 10377 Somerset Pike, Somerset, PA 15501. Military graveside rites
