Shaulis, 88, Berlin RD 1, died July 6, 1984 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born June 22, 1896, in Somerset County, son of Harry and Catherine (Baker) Shaulis. Preceded in death by parents; wife, former Edna Bridegum; one sister and two brothers. Survived by son, Chester A., married to former Margerite Schrock, Berlin RD 1; and these grandchildren: Curtis, married to former Dorothy Robb and Greg, married to former Darla Lambert, both of Berlin RD 1; Sondra, married to William Stevenson, Martinsburg, W.Va.; and Holly, married to Brad Thompson, Somerset RD 3; four great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Mardelle Shaulis Miller, Indian Head. Member of 110th Regiment Band, Johnstown Reed Band, and Mountain Field and Stream Sportsman's Association, Roxbury. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, where service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm officiating.
