Shaulis, 78, of Somerset RD 6, died Oct. 17, 1975 Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 20, 1897, in Somerset County the daughter of the late Rev. Henry and Kathryn (Cramer) Petrea. Preceded in death by one son and a half-sister. Survived by her husband, Earl F., and these children: Mrs. Paul (Virginia) Horner of Friedens; Glen E., Robert E. and Mrs. Earl (Kathlene) Lenhart, all of Somerset RD 6; Mrs. Kenneth (Velma) Hoffman of Jennerstown; also 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A sister of Paul and Charles Petrea, both of Somerset; and Mrs. Thomas (Pearl) Doyle of Branchdale, Pa. A half-sister of Wallace Petrea, Cumberland, Md.; and Mrs. Donald (Ruth) Hershberger of Bedford. Member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Bakersville. Friends received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted Monday (today) at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Walter Sturtzel officiating. Interment, Bakersville Cemetery. Somerset American, October 20, 1975 [S1120]
