  ELLA E. SHAULIS
  
    Ella E. Shaulis, 77, pf Stahlstown Star Route, died Nov. 6, 1978 in
  the Latrobe Area Hospital.
    She was born Sept. 30, 1901, in Jefferson Township, Somerset
  County, daughter of the late Daniel and Jessie (Kunkle) Sleasman. 
  She was a member of the Kregar Community Church.
    She was preceded in death by husband, Harvey E. Shaulis in June
  1971.
    She is survived by eight children: Mrs. Bessie Ross and Mrs. Robert
  (Ethel) Darby, both of Stahlstown Star Route; Walter Shaulis of
  Acosta; Mrs. Guy (Linda) Sink of Acme; Mrs. B. J. (Gertrude)
  Nicholson of Mill Run; Mrs. Mervin (Ada) Dunmire of Stoystown RD 1;
  Mrs. Robert (Violet) Barkman of Rockwood and Thomas Shaulis of
  Stahlstown Star Route; 33 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and
  three great-great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by one
  brother, Jame Sleasman of Stahlstown.
    The family received friends at the L. Boyd Snyder Funeral Home, Rt.
  711, Stahlstown, where funeral services were held with the Rev. E. T.
  Beck.
