    Elmer R. (June) Shaulis Jr., 66, of Champion RD 1 died Aug. 2,
  1996, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Dec. 6, 1929, in
  Middlecreek Township.  Son of the late Elmer R. and Anna Ruth
  (Shawley) Shaulis.  Survived by his wife of 42 years, the former Ida
  Mae Cane, and the following children: Rick D. Shaulis, married to the
  former Debra Pritts, Rockwood RD 2; Mrs. Tom (Vicky) Hackwelder, Mrs.
  Paul (Sue) Prinkey, Wayne H. Shaulis, married to the former Teresa
  Hackwelder, Mary Shaulis and Danelle Shaulis, all of Champion RD 1. 
  Brother of Goldie Stevanus and Dorothy Mognet, both of Rockwood RD 3;
  Glenn Shaulis, Champion RD 1; and Bessie Pritts and Clara Blough, both
  of Rockwood RD 2.  U.S. Army Korean War veteran.  Member of the Center
  Church of the Brethren.  Employed in maintenance by Seven Springs
  Resort.  Member of the National Rifle Association.  Friends will be
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Wilbur D. Miller
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted at 2
  p.m. Sunday.  The Rev. Tom Singo officiating.  Interment, Miller
  Cemetery, Trent, Pa.
