    Emma F. (Eckenrode) Shaulis, 74, Jerome, formerly of Boswell, died Feb. 20, 2006, at
  Memorial Medical Center, Main Campus, Johnstown. Born Feb. 21, 1931, in Jerome, daughter
  of Earl and Anna (Bracken) Eckenrode. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Richard, on
  Feb. 4, 1997; and brother, Patrick. Survived by children, Connie Ofsanko, Jerome; Karen,
  married to Paul Levadnuk, Richland Township; Christine Hershey, Jerome; and Guy, Norfolk,
  Va.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley, married to Michael
  Budzina, Boswell; and Ella Mae, married to Dave Gaudlip, Richland Township; and numerous
  nieces, nephews and in-laws. A member of the Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, Jennerstown.
  She enjoyed gardening and sewing. In 2004, she was honored for her 44 years of weather
  observation for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street, Boswell. Viewing
  also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at the Laurel Hill G o s p e l
  Tabernacle. The Rev. Gary W. Anderson officiating. Interment, Beam Cemetery.
