  SHAULIS
  
  Ernest E. Shaulis, 72, West Main St., Somerset, died March 17, 1989,
  in Somerset Hospital.  Born May 17, 1916, Milford Township, son of
  late Milton and Matilda (Pyle) Shaulis.  Preceded in death by
  parents.  Survived by wife, Mary G. (Arnold) Shaulis, and these
  children: Edward H., married to former Delores Burnsworth, Boswell RD
  1; Franklin H., married to former Sharon Miller, Somerset RD 3; and
  Patricia A., wife of Reed Miller, Cannell Drive, Somerset; also seven
  grandchildren, two half brothers and two half sisters: Harry S. Pyle,
  Somerset; Elsie Powell, Stoystown RD 2; Irene Gardner, Winston, Ore.;
  and Merle Fritz, Somerset.  Member of the First Christian Church,
  Somerset.  Retired coal miner and retired from Somerset County
  Historical Center.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Sunday, in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will
  be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. William Sleasman
  officiating.  Interment, Christ Casebeer Cemetery.
