  SHAULIS
  
  Evelyn Shaulis, 75, Friedens RD 1, died July 17, 1988, in her home. 
  She was born Jan. 24, 1913, in Meyersdale, daughter of the late Homer
  and Badie (Close) Esherick.  Preceded in death by her husband,
  Wilbert; sister, Hazel Allen; and one great-granddaughter.  Survived
  by three sons: Fred P., Colorado Springs, Colo.; Robert G., Somerset
  RD 2; and Wilbert E., Mulberry, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 14
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of: Laura Ohler and E. Guy Esherick,
  both Stoystown RD 3.  She was a member of the Beulah United Methodist
  Church.  Friends will be received today, Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in
  the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.  Services will be Tuesday 1:30
  p.m. in the Beulah United Methodist Church, the Rev. David Jack
  officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.  Body will lie in state in
  the church from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of the service.
