Born Oct. 13, 1946, in Somerset, a daughter of Glenn and Geneva (Lohr) Brant. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Hooversville; son, Gerald W., married to the former Kathy Secriskey, Salix; daughter, Gail L., married to Chad Charlton, Stoystown; grandchildren, Abigail and Dillion Charlton, Gabrielle and Jessie Shaulis; sisters, Barbara Eicher, Magnolia, N.J.; Janet, married to Daniel Vatavuk, Windber; brother, Randy, married to the former Kathy Varner, Hooversville; former husband, Glenn Shaulis, Stoystown; former sister-in-law, Ireta Blanset, Stoystown; and three nieces and seven nephews. A 1964 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Formerly employed by the FBI, Washington, D.C. Former school bus driver for the North Star School District. Former secretary for Quemahoning Township. Retired record specialist for State Correctional Institution-Somerset. Currently was a property manager for the Housing Authority of Somerset County, Stadium Terrace, Windber. Former union representative for AFSCME. Former coach and referee for AYSO, Stoystown. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events, riding motorcycles and creating her own greeting cards. She also liked traveling to Colorado to visit her best friends. Glenda touched many lives and was always willing to help anyone in need. Viewing from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridge Road, Hooversville. The Rev. Gerald L. Myers, officiating.
