Shaulis, 69, of Champion died May 9, 2001 at his home. He was born Dec. 24, 1931 in Middlecreek Township, Somerset County, a son of the late Elmer "Ruth" and Anna Shawley Shaulis. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are a son Clyde "Coke" Shaulis and a brother Elmer "June" Shaulis. He is survived by his wife, Faye Kemp Shaulis; the following children, Glenn Shaulis Jr. of Piedmont, S.C., Celia "Sis" King and her husband Randy of Acme, Thena Jackson of Williamston, S.C., Michael Shaulis and his wife Tina of Stahlstown, Brian Shaulis of Williamston, S.C., Glenda Smith and her husband Ray of Perryopolis, and Ronald Shaulis at home; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Goldie "Toot" Stevanus and her husband Ray "Hicks" of Rockwood, Dorothy Mogner of Rockwood, Bessie Pritts of Rockwood, and Clara "Jane" Blough and her husband Dale of Rockwood. He worked as a sawyer for the Mastowski and Fullem Lumber Co. and for Ritenour Lumber. He was also employed at Seven Springs Mountain Resort. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Trent. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Tom Singo officiating.
