Shaulis, 80, of Somerset RD 3, died April 22, 1989, at the Windber Hospice Unit. Born Aug. 2, 1908, in Middlecreek Township, son of the late Harry and Margaret (Hostetler) Shaulis. Preceded in death by wife, the former Gladys Showman, in 1987, and brothers: Roy, Clyde and Lester. Brother of Oran, Great Falls, Mont.; Edna Sleasman of Somerset RD 3; Mary Showman of somerset RD 6; Mrs. Ray (Twila) Blubaugh of Ohio; also many nieces and nephews. He was a retired woodsman, state highway employee and most recently retired carpenter for Telford Miller Contractor. Member Somerset Church of the Brethren. U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 250th Field Battalion. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Wilbur D.
