  SHAULIS
  
  Leslie Len Shaulis, 77, of Somerset, died Jan 25, 1989, at West Penn
  Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born July 10, 1911, in Middlecreek Township,
  son of the late Harry and Margaret (Hostetler) Shaulis.  Preceded in
  death by an infant daughter, Connie Fay; and brothers, Roy and
  Clyde.  Survived by his wife of 56 years, the former Lila Berkey; one
  daughter, Kay Shaulis Roher, Somerset; son, Jay L. Shaulis,
  Shanksville; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna
  S. Sleasman; brother, Ira Shaulis, and sister, Mary S. Showman, all
  of Somerset; brother, Oran Shaulis, Great Falls, Mont.; and sister,
  Twila Blubaugh, Arizona.  A well-known timberman by occupation,
  spending all his working years in the woods.  Friends will be
  received 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the
  Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral service will be
  conducted Saturday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Sherman Berkey officiating. 
  Interment, Middlecreek Cemetery.
