Shaulis, 83, formerly of Somerset died July 2, 1995 at Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin. Born May 9, 1912 in Somerset County. Son of the late Nevin and Goldie (Ream) Shaulis. Preceded in death by wives Mae G. Baker and Bessie Cramer, a son James, two grandchildren and a brother Merle. Survived by children: Kenneth R., Penfield; Lois J., wife of William Saylor, Somerset RD 6; Elwood W., Listie; Audrey C., wife of Gerald Thomas, Rolling Hills, Wyo.; John H., Berlin; Mary Jane, wife of Donald McGregor, Somerset; Donald A., Somerset RD 3; Gail, wife of Stanley Clark, Somerset RD 7; Timothy L., Somerset RD 6, and stepdaughter, Esther, wife of William Kendig of Kensington, Md. Also 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Brother of Marian Miller, Somerset, and Thelma, wife of Elwood Shaulis, Somerset RD 3. Member of Beulah United Methodist Church. Former Somerset Township supervisor. Retired farmer and bus driver. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert H. Halversvon Funeral Home. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Beulah United Methodist Church, Rev. Herbert Lohr officiating. Interment, Church cemetery.
