  LUTHER JAY SHAULIS SR.
  
  Luther Jay Shaulis Sr., 90, Somerset, died Dec. 17, 2004 at his
  residence.  Born Oct. 24, 1914 in Jefferson Township, the son of Roy
  Henry and Mary Augusta (Beck) Shaulis.  Preceded in death by parents,
  sons, Roy A. and Donald L. Shaulis, grandson Fred Shaulis Jr. and
  sisters Garnet and Gladys Shaulis.  Survived by wife, the former Helen
  Ada Traup to whom he was married 68 1/2 years; children, Mrs. Shirley
  Moon, Somerset; Luther J. Shaulis Jr., Somerset; Fred Shaulis,
  married to the former Nancy Revello, Somerset; Jerry D. Shaulis,
  married to the former Kay Neal, Beckley, W.Va.; nine grandchildren
  and 10 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Grace Carey, Friedens,
  Clyde Shaulis, Mrs. Mary Barron, Mrs. Goldie Ohler and Mrs. Ruby
  Rock, all of Somerset.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  A 1933
  graduate of Somerset High School.  He was owner of the former Roy H.
  Shaulis and Son Car Dealership, retiring in 1973.  Also a member of
  Lodge 358 F&AM, Somerset Lions Club, formerly on the Board of
  Directors for U.S. Bank, Somerset Hospital and Somerset Water
  Authority.  No viewing or visitation.  Memorial service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home,
  Somerset.  The Rev. Linda McElroy officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  Please omit flowers.  Contributions may be made
