"Debbie" Shaulis, 58, of Stoystown RD 3, died Dec. 27, 1981, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born June 25, 1923, in Quemahoning Township, daughter of Mrs. Pearl (Comp) Berkebile of Stoystown RD 2; and the late Orie Berkebile. Also preceded in death by infant sister. Also survived by husband, Edward F., whom she married April 22, 1962. She was a sister of Violet Berkebile of Stoystown RD 1; and Mrs. William (Janet) Valentine, Stoystown RD 2. She worked 18 years as a secretary with the Air Force at the Pentagon. She attended the Patricia Stevens Modeling School in Washington, D.C.; and she played the trumpet in a volunteer band in Washington that played at various military hospitals. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Ronald C.
