   Marguerite S. Shaulis, 88, Berlin, died April 1, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. Born
  June 18, 1919, in Somerset, the daughter of Merle and Nellie (Glessner) Schrock. Preceded
  in death by her parents; husband of 46 years, Chester; and a stepsister, Leona Ginter.
  Survived by these children, Curtis, married to the former Dorothy Robb, Berlin; Sondra
  Stevenson, married to Bill, Winchester, Va.; Holly Thompson, married to Bradley; and
  Gregory, married to the former Darla Lambert, all of Berlin; 12 grandchildren, Andrea and
  Melissa Shaulis, Jennifer Beatley, Elizabeth and Michael Stevenson, Kassie, Jannah and
  Carson Shaulis, Ashleigh, Alyssa, Aimee and Austin Thompson. She was a 1937 graduate of
  Shanksville High School and a 1941 graduate of the State Teacher's College in Indiana,
  earning her B.S. in public school music. She gave private lessons in piano and organ.
  Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, where she was the music director for many
  years. Also the former organist and choir director at what is now Unity United Church of
  Christ. She organized many cantatas, musical programs, bell choirs and community choruses
  throughout her 67 years in music. Member of Somerset Hospital Auxiliary and RSVP and a
  former volunteer at Somerset Hospital. She enjoyed nature, feeding birds and cherished
  her two cats. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Jay
  Shaffer and the Rev. Ralph Landis officiating. Interment, Glade Cemetery. Memorial
  contributions may be given to the Music Fund at Trinity UCC, Berlin, PA 15530.
