  SHAULIS
  
  Nelson H. Shaulis, 92, Somerset RD 5, died Dec. 19, 1986, at the home
  of his son, John N. Shaulis, Somerset RD 5.  Born Dec. 19, 1894, in
  Jefferson Township, he was the son of the late George and Kathryn
  (Brandt) Shaulis.  Also preceded in death by his wife, the former
  Minnie Peterman, in 1982; a son, Charles H., in 1984; brother,
  Daniel, during WWI; and sister, Emma Shaffer.  Also several
  grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Survived by these chidlren: 
  John N., Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Merle (Evelyn) Mack, Medina Ohio;
  William F., Grasonville, Md.; Mrs. Elmer (Emma) Moore, Somerset RD 3;
  Mrs. Carl (Betty) Hamer, Friedens RD 1; James N., Avondale, Pa.; and
  Mrs. Clifford (Mary) Enos, Gray.  Also raised two grandchildren: 
  Mrs. Steve (Ruth Ann) Stetz, Stowe, Ohio, and Paul Richard Shaulis,
  Markleton RD 1.  Thirty grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, nine
  great-great-grandchildren.  Retired farmer, miner and sawmiller. 
  Member of First Christian Church, Somerset.  Member FOE, Aerie 1801,
  Somerset, 54 years.  Friends were received Sunday evening in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, and will be received today (Monday)
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Services Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Gene C.
  Sellers and the Rev. Robert McNeel officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
