Shaulis, 90, Newburg, Md., formerly of Somerset, died Feb. 1, 2004. Born November 13, 1913, in Somerset County, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie (Walker) Ringler. Also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Budd K. Shaulis, brothers, A. Preston Ringler, Earl Ringler, Merle Ringler and sister Prudence (Ringler) Barron. She is survived by her loving caretaker of nine years, her daughter Mrs. Francis (Marlene) Lohr, Newburg, Md., son, Charles R. Shaulis, Somerset. Grandchildren, Charles A. Shaulis, Rockwood, Virginia "Jenny" (Shaulis) Fritch, Somerset, step granddaughter, Patti Ann Coddington, Rockwood, Michelle (Lohr) Chisholm, wife of James Chisholm, King George, Va., Thomas Lohr married to Dawn Lohr, Charlotte Hall, Md. Great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jared Chisholm and Ashley and Angel Fritch. She is also survived by nephews Charles and Wayne Barron both of Somerset and Harold Ringler, Holt, Mich., and niece Mary Ann (Ringler) Cotter, Berlin. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Friday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Patricia Nelson and the Rev. Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.
