  SHAULIS
  
    William J. Bailey Shaulis, 66, of Sipesville, died Feb. 1, 1993, at
  his residence.  Born July 31, 1926, in Somerset, son of the late Irvin
  Ernest and Grace (Idella) Davis Shaulis.  Also preceded in death by a
  brother, Wayne Robert Shaulis.  Survived by his wife, the former Mary
  Kathryn Schmucker, with whom he celebrated his 45th wedding
  anniversary on Jan. 12, 1993, and by these daughters: Mrs. Gregory A.
  (Tracy Joe) Croyle, Sipesville; Mrs. Michael S. (Trudy Jill) Saylor of
  Sipesville.  Brother of James C. Shaulis, Las Vegas, Nev.; Vernon D.
  Shaulis, Bethany, W. Va.; Mrs. Ona Baker, Somerset; Ernest R.
  Shaulis, Somerset RD 7; Mrs. Jay R. (Marlene) Deaner, Stoystown RD
  1.  Retired route salesman for Galliker's Daily of Johnstown,
  retiring in June 1988.  A 1944 graduate of Somerset High School. 
  Veteran of U.S. Army, World War II.  Member of Sipesville Church of
  the Brethren, Sipesville Volunteer Fire Co., Somerset Lodge 358, F &
  A.M.; Harrisburg Consistory, Jaffe Shrine and past president of
  Sipesville Lions Club.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at
  the Sipesville Church of the Brethren, Rev. Leslie E. Cooper
  officiating.  Interment, Sipesville Cemetery.  No viewing at the
  church.  Sipesville Fire Co. service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and
  Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  Family suggests contributions
  to Western Pa. Chapter, American Heart Association, 318 Broad St.,
  Johnstown, PA 15906.
