Shaver Called to Rest Funeral Services Conducted at Her Home in Somerset, Tuesday, 4 P.M. Mrs. Elizabeth (Linn) Shaver, wife of Attorney Clarence L. Shaver, succumbed to a short illness following embolism at her home in Somerset Sunday morning. She was the only daughter of Frank and Sarah (Henderson) Linn, and was born near West Newton, Westmoreland County, July 10, 1885. She was married to Clarence L. Shaver on June 21, 1906 and to this union was born one son, Dr. Chester L. Shaver. She is survived by her husband, the son, and one grandson, Philip Alcott Shaver. Mrs. Shaver was for many years a teacher of piano and vocal music. She was a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Oberlin, O., and attended summer sessions at Julliard School of Music in New York. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Somerset, a member of the Eastern Star and since she was stricken by her fatal illness her membership in Forbes Road Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, was received from Washington. Funeral services were conducted at the Shaver home at 320 West Main Street, Somerset, Tuesday afternoon at 4 by the Rev. Dr. I. Hess Wagner. Interment was made in the Union Cemetery.
