    Helen D. Shaw, 89, Jennerstown, formerly of McKeesport, died Aug.
  19, 2001 in McKeesport.  She was born Jan. 28, 1912 in McKeesport. 
  Daughter of the late Lester N. and Ella Larish Lowery; wife of the
  late Charles W. Shaw; sister of Lester N. (Bud) Lowery of West
  Mifflin; and John E. Lowery of Elizabeth Township; foster mother of
  David and  Karol Fawcett Horvatin of Dravosburg.  Also six nieces and
  nephews.  Retired from the former G. C. Murphy Co. Office in
  McKeesport; she was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church,
  Boswell; Clairton Chapter, Order Eastern Star; and a former member of
  Central Presbyterian Church in McKeesport.  Friends will be received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Hunter Funeral Home Inc., 1600
  Coursin St., McKeesport, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday, with the Rev. Peter Grosso officiating. Interment will
  follow in West Newtown Cemetery, West Newton.  The family suggests
  contributions to Covenant Presbyterian Church, Boswell or the
  Jennerstown Mountain Playhouse.
