    Lloyd R. Shawley Sr., 67, of Hollsopple RD 2, died Sept. 1, 1985 in
  Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 21, 1918 at Belltown, son of
  Lee Robert and Lola Ellen (Baker) Shawley.  Preceded in death by
  parents; grandson, Dane Smith; two brothers.  Survived by wife,
  former Kathleen Koontz; and these children: Mrs. Stanley (Carolyn)
  Lester, Pineville, W.Va.; Mrs. Andrew (Kathleen) Zarycki, Maple
  Heights, Ohio; Lloyd R. Jr. ("Bud") married to Sandra J. Bair, and
  Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Smith, both of Hollsopple RD 2; Mrs. Howard
  (Linda) Boyer, Kantner; 18 grandchildren.  Brother of:  Earl,
  Johnstown; Mrs. Richard (Helen) Snowberger, Boswell; Wade, Jerome;
  Bernard, Somerset RD 3; Ralph, Cleveland, Ohio; and mother-in-law,
  Maude Koontz, Jerome.  He was a member of the Nazarene Church of
  Jerome.  Death breaks marriage union of 45 years.  Retired coal
  miner, steel worker and construction worker.  Family receiving
  friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, George E. Mason Funeral Home,
  Davidsville, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m.
  Wednesday, the Revs. John Goodworth and Donald Speigle.  Interment,
  Berlin Cemetery.
