Frick Community Health Center, Mt. Pleasant. Born March 16, 1978 in Somerset, son of Phillip K. Shawley Sr. of Somerset RD 6 and Cynthia B. Lynch of Everson. Attended the St. Clair Intermediate Unit School of Greensburg. In addition to parents, survived by a stepmother, Patricia Lavan Shawley of Somerset RD 6; two brothers, Christopher Shawley of Everson and Bradley Shawley of Somerset RD 6; two sisters, Jennifer and Michelle Shawley, both of Everson; paternal grandparents, Mildred P. Henry Shawley of Tarrs and the late Phillip K. Shawley; maternal grandparents, Betty Uster Lynch Gravely of Ruffsdale RD and the late Elmer Lynch and a step-grandmother, Betty G. Trent Lavan of Somerset. Preceded in death by a sister, Malinda K. Shawley in 1986. Friends will be received at Luther J. Grimm Funeral Home, 806 W. Main St., Mount Pleasant, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Timothy V. Sweigart officiating.
