Born in Confluence, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Edna May (Hyatt) Kreger; her husband, William Shea died in 1965. She was a member of Fairview Avenue United Methodist Church and the Gold Star Mothers. Her son, Paul (unclear) Shea was killed in action with the United States Navy in World War II. She was an honorary member of Fort Cumberland Post 13, American Legion and an honorary member of the Navy Mothers. Surviving are two sisters, Dolly Himmler, Cumberland, Md.; and Myra Sechler, Addison; one brother, Charles Kreger, Confluence. Friends were received at the Silcox-Merritt Funeral residence where services were conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Richard Seefried. Interment, Sunset Memorial Park.
