    George B. Sheavly, 73, of Main Street, Berlin, died Oct. 16, 1971
  in Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 3, 1898 in Hyndman, a
  son of the late William J. and Catherine (Brown) Sheavly.  Preceded
  in death by his first wife, the former Elizabeth Knepper and one
  sister.  Survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Louise Shaffer Glessner
  Sheavly; two sons, George B. Jr., Johnstown; and Richard B.,
  Nazareth; and a grandson, Robert.  Also the following stepchildren: 
  Ronald L. Glessner, Bowie, Md.; Mrs. Edward Haselbarth and Byron E.,
  both Berlin RD 1; Mrs. George Custer, San Antonio, Texas; Ralph E.,
  Somerset and Thomas N., Berlin.  A brother of William Sheavly,
  Canandaigua, N.Y.; Mrs. Natalie Nicodemus, Duquesne and Horace, New
  Castle.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church., Berlin; American Legion,
  Somerset Voture 40 & 8; Berlin Volunteer Fire Company; Berlin IOOF
  Lodge.  A veteran of World War I.
