Born May 31, 1910 in Lincoln Township, daughter of the late Michael S. and Annie M. (Darr) Shaffer. Also preceded in death by first husband, Philip H. Glessner; second husband, George B. Sheavly; seven brothers: Ernest, Edward, John, George, William, Michael and Clyde. Also a stepson, George B. Sheavly Jr. Survived by her husband, Horace A.; stepchildren: Mrs. Maurice (Esther) Harro, Campbelltown, Pa.; Philip H. Glessner Jr.; Laotto, Ind.; Children: Ronald L. Glessner, Bowie, Md.; Mrs. Edward (Sally) Haselbarth and Byron E. Glessner, both of Berlin RD 1; Mrs. George (Carolyn) Custer, Berlin; Ralph E. Glessner, Salix.; and Thomas N. Glessner, Fairhope RD 1; stepchildren: Richard Sheavly, Henryville, Pa.; Fremont Sheavly and Mrs. Sherril Kay Miller, both of Texas; 17 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren. Sister of: Mrs. Edith Barnhart, Millersburg, Pa.; Fred K. Shaffer, Somerset RD 2; and Mrs. Alma Mull, Fair Oaks, Calif. Member of the Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren; American Legion Post 445 Auxiliary of Berlin; and Lady Berlin Rebekah Lodge 277, Berlin. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Ziegler Funeral Home, where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Davis officiating.
