  SHEELE
  
    Clair N. Sheele, 76, Mount Pleasant RD 4, died Sept. 21, 1996 at
  Frick Hospital and Community Health Center, Mount Pleasant.  Born
  Oct. 13, 1919 at Kecksburg.  Son of the late Joshua and Leona E.
  (Sheets) Sheele.  Member of Mount Joy Church of the Brethren.  Army
  veteran of World War II.  Prior to retirement was equipment operator
  for PennDOT .  Member of VFW and American Legion.  Survived by wife
  of 50 years, the former Ruth Marie Faidley; son, Richard L., Acme;
  two daughters, Gloria Marie Sheele and Linda Pearl Kuhns, both of
  Mount Pleasant; also three grandchildren.  Preceded in death by son,
  Clark Bruce Sheele and granddaughter, Michele Kuhns and two brothers,
  William K. and Alvin L. Sheets.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday and from 2 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Eugene G. Saloom
  Funeral Home Inc., Main Street, Mount Pleasant, where funeral
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Robert L.
  Bloom officiating.  Interment, Mount Joy Cemetery with military
  rites.
