    Elmer E. "Punch" Sheeler, 81, House 211, Jenners, died Nov. 1, 1977
  at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 17, 1896 in Rockwood, the
  son of John and Jane (Fitzpatrick) Sheeler.  Preceded in death by
  parents; wife, the former Florence Margaret Ludy who died Oct. 1,
  1965; one infant daughter, Erma; and one son, George, who died July
  16, 1973; and one great granddaughter, Tammie Lee Frank, who died
  March 13, 1975; three brothers and two sisters.  Survived by these
  children: Edna, Somerset; Phyllis, Boswell; Robert J., married to
  Ruth Lintz, Jerome; Dwight E., married to Dorothy Ogline, Somerset RD
  2; Mary Jean, wife of Daniel Truscott, Boswell, Rd 2; Thomas H.,
  Jenners; William A., married to Sandy Ginger, Jenners; 19
  grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Member of UMWA,
  Johnstown Local 1014 and Jenner Rod and Gun Club.  Friends received
  from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Joseph G. Hoffman
  Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Saturday, the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn officiating.  Interment,
  Casebeer Lutheran Cemetery.
