Sheeler, 52, of Friedens RD 1, died July 16, 1973 at his residence. He was born November 26, 1920 in Somerset County. Son of Elmer Sheeler of Jenners and the late Florence (Ludy) Sheeler. Also preceded in death by sister, Erma. Survived by his wife, the former Betty Pile, daughter Mrs. Eldon (Beverly) Lephart of Somerset. He was a brother of Edna Sheeler; Mrs. Phyllis Gohn; Mrs. Daniel (Mary Jean) Truscott, all of Boswell; Robert of Jerome; Dwight and Thomas, both of Somerset and William of Jenners. He was a partner in the Pile Burial Vault and Septic Tank Co., Friedens. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Jenner Rod and Gun Club, and Somerset County Fireman's Association. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev.
