Born April 1, 1961, in Bedford, he was a son of Grace A. Leydig of Meyersdale and the late John Robert Sheetz, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Bobbi (Beal) Sheetz of Meyersdale; and these sons: John III, Mark, and Steven, and a daughter, Michael; and five grandchildren. Also survived by stepmother, Kate (Cumberland) Sheetz of Buffalo Mills; and a number of brothers and sisters. He attended the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Boynton. Friends were received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where the funeral service was held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Twigg, Jr. officiating. Interment was in the Reformed Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
