SHEETZ Vada May Sheetz, 74, Alexandria, Va., formerly of Hyndman, died Saturday, April 27, 1985, at the Fairfax Va., Hospital. She was born in Grantsville, Md., Aug. 16, 1910, a daughter of the late Nelson Wilt and Fannie (Burkholder) Wilt. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Her husband, Edgar V. Sheetz, died April 19, 1953. She is survived by six sons, Donald Sheets, Meyersdale RD 4; David Sheetz, Hyndman RD 1; John Sheetz, Buffalo Mills RD 1; Arthur Sheetz, Cumberland, Md.; Edgal Sheetz, Friedens Frank Sheetz, Mount Savage, Md.; six daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Parsons, at home; Mrs. Irene Twigg and Mrs. Linda Meyers, both of Meyersdale; Mrs. Shirley Merrill, Forestville, Md.; Mrs. Genevieve Dickens, Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Lois Fazenbaker, Uniontown; six sisters, Mrs. Martha Sommerville, Salisbury; Mrs. Edna Miller and Mrs. Annie Whitman, both of Confluence; Mrs. Ineta Clinton, of Missouri; Mrs. Lettie Fazenbaker, Bittinger, Md.; Mrs. Elsie Compton, Mount Savage, Md.; one brother, Ned Wilt, West Salisbury, 49 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home where services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James C. Shockey officiating. Interment, Palo Alto Cemetery.
