    Andrew Sheftic Sr., 75, 214 West St., Jenners, died April 28, 1990,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born Aug. 26, 1914, in Ralphton, son of Michael
  Sr. and Mary (Ristvey) Sheftic.  Preceded in death by parents;
  brothers, George and Michael Jr.; sister, Sue Vesek; and infant
  sister.  Survived by wife, the former Julia Skasko, and these
  children:  Andrew Jr., at home; and Janet, wife of Nick Yakubik,
  Silver Spring, Md.; also grandchildren, Christine, Nicholas and Sarah
  Yakabik.  Brother of Mary Skasko, Gaithersburg, Md.; John and Nick,
  both of Jenners; Basil, Stoughton Lake, Boswell RD 2; Anna Melnkovic,
  Windber, and Stephen, Falls Church, Va.  Member of St. Mary's Orthodox
  Catholic Church, Jenners, where he served as past officer; Jenner Rod
  and Gun Club, and Boswell Post 461, American Legion.  Army veteran of
  World War II.  Partner with brother, Basil, at former Sheftic Bros.
  Store, Jenners, for many years.  Observed 48th wedding anniversary
  Nov. 1, 1989.  Friends were received Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Main St., Boswell.  Panachida at 9:15 a.m. Monday (today) at the
  funeral home, followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's
  Church, Father John A. Baranik.  Interment, church cemetery.
